Six killed by Covid-19 in Rwanda, 143 infected


The Ministry of Health said that on September 27, 2021, six people were killed by the Covid-19, bringing the death toll to 1258.

A statement from the Ministry of Health said the victims were three women and three men from Rulindo, Nyagatare, Gicumbi, Huye, Karongi, and Kigali City districts.

Tests of the past 24 hours found that 143 new people were infected across the country.

As of March 14, 2020, when the first COVID-19 patient was found in Rwanda, 2,776,387 tests had been taken.
1,646,980 Rwandans have already received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine, While those who have taken the first doze of the Covid-19 vaccine increased to 2,105,087.
