In the Africa Volleyball Championship, Rwanda defeats Burundi.


The Rwandan team thrashed their Burundian opponents 25:15, 25:19, 25:12 in a keenly watched encounter at Kigali Arena just before President Paul Kagame’s inauguration.

The men’s 2021 CAVB Volleyball Nation’s Championships are now underway, with sixteen teams divided into three groups: A, B, C, and D.

Burkina Faso, Burundi, and Uganda are in Group A with Rwanda.

Tunisia, Ethiopia, Nigeria, and South Sudan are in Group B.

DRC, Mali, Cameroon, and Niger make up Group C.

Egypt, Morocco, Tanzania, and Kenya make up Group D.

Rwanda is slated to face Burkina Faso on this cold Wednesday, followed by Uganda on Thursday.
